Grameen Foundation works in developing nations where poverty and chronic hunger are suffered by a large portion of a country’s population, and in countries where wide disparities of wealth leave large populations marginalized.

The results
Grameen Foundation worked with a network of microfinance institutions in Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East to extend microfinance to the world’s poorest people.
The 52-member network had provided micro-loans and other services to 10.9 million people.
