Dagmar Gruber
My name is Dagmar Gruber and I am a 24 year old designer from Italy. I started my fashion design studies at ESMOD in Munich/Germany, however then graduated at ESMOD in Guangzhou/China. I experiment with new shapes and work with different materials. My designs I mostly start with draping fabric, of which I get my inspiration and from there I then start to create.
The loud silence. Can you hear it? The concept of my collection is to calm down and listen. We live in a loud, hectic, fast and modern world. We are constantly surrounded by noises and sounds and we forget to calm down.
The last time when I could hear the seldom, beautiful sound of silence, was when I was standing on the peak of a mountain, with the glamorous view, there I could feel and hear the magic silence. It was exclusive and extravagant, and so is my collection. I use predominantly neoprene fabrics in white and grey colours. Some deails are made in transparent and silver plastic. I also use organza and cotton.
