Clara Pinto

The result of my work essentially responds to the anthropological search about the different dimensions in human corporeality.

Born in Buenos Aires, Clara has been involved from an early age in Art. She attended the National University of Arts (UNA), and in 2015 she graduated as a Fashion and Textile Designer. During her studies she became particularly interested in the preservation and the redefinition of ordinary materials and hand made garments. She specialised in embroidery, screen printing and felt making. After graduating, she gained experience teaching digital textile design in various galleries, also working in high end brand Juan Hernandez Daels and became the assistant of fashion icon and pioneer Delia Cancela. Her thesis collection 'PAUSE' has been chosen to represent contemporary textile in CIMODE 2016 congress. Clara is currently living and working in London.
